Based in Chicago, IL and San Diego, CA, much of our grant-making commitments are in those two cities.. We are committed to addressing homelessness with an emphasis on prevention and preservation of affordable housing in areas where a community can be established.
We value collaboration, whether that is joining forces with other funders already making a difference or connecting organizations to make a greater impact. We strive to foster collaboration among our grantees to maximize the efficiency and impact of their work, in the hopes of making permanent change.
Cuore e Mani is partnered with the Chicago Funders Together to End Homelessness, and contributed to the Housing Justice Fund- the first grantmaking initiative of its kind. Read more about the CFTEH and the Housing Justice Fund here.
